“U.i.T.M.”

It was the four-letters-sole-word to express the feeling he had with all the awards crowned for he and his team.

This was uttered by the winner for Excellent Leadership Award for Male Student (Anugerah Kepimpinan Cemerlang Siswa), Kamarul Zaman Zainan during the Excellence Performance Awards for Society/Club 2010 (Majlis Anugerah Persatuan / Kelab Cemerlang 2010 UiTM).

“What I gained reflects back to UiTM, our varsity. I learned the hard ways here and what I get tonight is not a one man show.

UiTM has created me into a more successful person and this award is dedicated to all those had built me. And it’s all because of and for UiTM,” he added.

The ex-President for Perindu College Representative Council (Jawatankuasa Perwakilan Kolej) has become the front man of the Council for two years in a row.

In the award that was held in Dewan Sri Budiman on January 26, Perindu Collehe has won a category of Culture/Arts Awards with the organized University Nasyid Festival Program 2010 (FENU’ 10) and Best SMF/JPK Committee Award.

Added with Kamarul’s individual award, Perindu College swept the Overall UiTM Best Society Award 2010 (Anugerah Persatuan Terbaik Keseluruhan UiTM 2010) with the outstanding performance throughout the year.

With that, they walked away with RM 2,000 cash, the challenge trophy (Piala Pusingan), a trophy (Piala Iringan) and certificates.
